Additional Tax Reform Bills Introduced

A few more NC Tax Reform bills have been introduced in the past few days, to get ahead of the House filing deadline.

HB 998 – Sponsored by Rep. David Lewis (Dunn), there’s not much to it now other than some changes to accelerated depreciation. Like the two Rucho bills, this is a ‘placeholder’ and will no doubt get much lengthier when it’s amended in committee.

HB 985 – A fairly comprehensive bill, filed by Greensboro Rep. John Blust.

HB 961 – Filed by a pair of Charlotte Dems, this might be an interesting read.
